It is a time for them to face their inner mind selves. That's why Japanese people write words of comfort or goals they have for themselves and hang them on walls in their homes where they can see that's word every day.

My home is a typical apartment for the average person.  It is not a luxury high-rise condominium.
So sometimes, neighbors come over to play, or my son comes home from school. It's a house where people are always coming and going.
